Riley directed the world-premieres of Lewis Treston’s HOT TUB, Danny Ball’s THE ITALIANS, Angus Cameron’s AUSTRALIAN OPEN, and Chris Edwards’ THIS BITTER EARTH.

He developed Lewis Treston’s HUBRIS & HUMILIATION, which premiered at STC, and Luke Di Somma’s THE UNRULY TOURISTS, which premiered at NZ Opera.

In October 2026, Riley will direct the world-premiere of Anthony Nocera’s LOG BOY for STCSA.
